Seattle [Seattle]
the largest city in the north-western US, also known as the ‘Emerald City’. It is in the state of ↑Washington and is a Pacific port on Elliott Bay. It was settled in 1852 and named after a Native-American leader. It is the home of the ↑Boeing aircraft company and other industries, but tourists are attracted by its clean air and beautiful scenery.
